Here is a musical hybrid which merges several different genres of music into one coherent personal yet universal sound. Mixing live instruments (drums, cello, trumpet, guitar and bass) and voice with sampling, electronics, and sequencing, here traverses through rock drum and bass, electronica, hip hop, pop, but remains firmly rooted in the song.
Here is an Italian/American collaboration between Teho Teardo and J.F.Coleman. Teho is involved in different projects (operator, matera…) and has done several soundtracks and sound installations. Coleman spent years as an integral member of the seminal New York band Cop Shoot Cop. Apart from here, he is currently scoring numerous films and has a solo album out under the name of PHYLR.
Many guests collaborated to the first here album, "Brooklyn bank": Lydia Lunch, Scott McCloud (Girls Against Boys), Bill Bronson (Swans), David Ouimet (Motherhead Bug, Foetus), Jim Colarusso who played trumpet with Elvis Presley, Carolyn Honeychild…
Here are currently working on a new album, several songs have been already recorded and within this fall the album will be mixed. Phil Puleo (Cop Shoot Cop, Swans) added drums on most of the new songs, Carolyn Coleman did some vocal work and Martina Bertoni played cello.
