Erik Friedlander is an amazing cellist from nyc. We're now working together on an album inspired by Pier Paolo Pasolini's poetry.

The music is a combination of cello, guitar and electronics, on a few tracks there's a poem reading to reconnect directly to Pasolini's work, other tracks are completely instrumental.

On july 26th we did a show at the Knitting Factory in New York and it's been a great experience to me.

Modern institute

Modern Institute is the new project of Teho Teardo (guitar, rhodes, electronics) and cellist Martina Bertoni. Floating gentle and deep cello notes jam together with sudden, futuristic, electronic melodies for an enrapturing listening expience, both emotional and cinematic.

Here is a musical hybrid which merges several different genres of music into one coherent personal yet universal sound. Mixing live instruments (drums, cello, trumpet, guitar and bass) and voice with sampling, electronics, and sequencing, here traverses through rock drum and bass, electronica, hip hop, pop, but remains firmly rooted in the song.

The first album from Scott McCloud (GIRLS AGAINST BOYS) and Teho Teardo's new project OPERATOR is a mixture of electronica, punk rock and pop. Dark compositions and the contrary electro-pop-dance both set a real variety in music and Scott McCloud's voice a real pop-tone.

Birmingham, spring 1996: Mick Harris of Scorn and Teho Teardo get together on a new project named Matera, just like the ancient city in the deep south of Italy.

They mix the most peculiar elements of both into quite a unique listening experience that goes through dub, drum and bass, whispered vocals and atmospheric drones.

Meathead released their first album, "Street Knowledge", in 1992, it was a mix of indie sound, hip-hop, electric engines, industrial noises and anger lyrics talking about underground culture.
